Q Gardens has, up til now, operated a unique service delivering vegetable boxes to five local primary schools, so busy parents or school staff can, once a week, take home a box full of fresh, seasonal local produce.
Regretably, we have recently decided to end the service because of declining orders, due, we suspect, to the economic environment. However, if in the future, there is enough demand once again for the service we will with delight relaunch it.
Our aim is to fill the boxes with as high a proportion of locally-grown produce as possible. This reduces food miles and ensures that the customer receives a box of very fresh fruit & veg.
The boxes are also available to individual customers from the shop – a box of fresh fruit & veg without having to make any decisions – please phone us to order yours and collect at your convenience.
